Step by Step Instructions
Prepare the Plate
(5–10 minutes):
Use a hole punch to make evenly spaced holes around the rim of the paper plate.
Cut a long piece of yarn and tie one end to one of the holes.
Start Weaving
(15–20 minutes):
Thread the yarn through the holes, creating a crisscross or spiral pattern.
Switch colors as desired by tying a new piece of yarn to the old one.
Decorate
(10–15 minutes):
Use markers or crayons to decorate the plate’s edges with patterns or doodles.
Display
(Optional, 5 minutes):
Tie a loop at the top of the plate to hang the finished piece on a wall.
